Introducing Jane: Matchmaker, Mentor, and Newest Member of the KWM Team
“To live on purpose… I’m good at what I do. Not better than someone else, or more important, but meaningful. Sometimes people don’t understand my job as a matchmaker until the moment they’re single. Then suddenly, I have the most important job in the world.”
That’s how Jane describes her work, and it’s a perspective shaped by over two decades of experience in the relationship industry. She is the newest member of the Krystal Walter Matchmaking team, bringing with her a career that has guided thousands of singles from dating to lasting relationships.
A Toronto native, Jane is a mother, a grandmother to three grandsons, a big sister, aunt, friend, and Christian. She loves cheering on the Blue Jays and Leafs, and she often recalls her adventures sailing the coast of British Columbia and the protected waters of the Gulf and San Juan Islands. For Jane, life has always been about direction and purpose.
Fun fact: Jane first met Krystal 15 years ago, back when they were competitors in the industry. Over the years they collaborated often, so when the opportunity came to officially join forces, it felt like a natural fit.
Before joining KWM, Jane founded and grew a leading matchmaking service in Western Canada. Her expertise has been featured on Bravo, Global TV, CBC, and in publications including Elle, The Globe and Mail, and Zoomer. Known for her no-nonsense approach and sharp intuition, she combines professionalism with genuine care for the people she works with. Clients value her results-driven style as much as her warmth, humor, and ability to make them feel seen and understood.
Jane believes matchmaking is more than introductions—it’s about building meaningful connections that can transform lives. With her blend of industry expertise and life wisdom, she brings both heart and strategy to every match she makes.
