Introducing Jane: Matchmaker, Mentor, and Member of the KWM Team
“To live on purpose… I’m good at what I do. Not better than someone else, or more important, but meaningful. Sometimes people don’t understand my job as a matchmaker until the moment they’re single. Then suddenly, I have the most important job in the world.”
That perspective reflects Jane’s approach to matchmaking and is shaped by more than two decades in the relationship industry. She is the newest member of the Krystal Walter Matchmaking team and has guided thousands of singles through the process of dating and building lasting relationships.
Jane splits her time between Vancouver and Toronto and stays closely connected to both dating communities. A Toronto native, she is a mother, grandmother to three grandsons, big sister, aunt, friend, and Christian. She enjoys cheering for the Blue Jays and Leafs and often reflects on time spent sailing the coast of British Columbia and the protected waters of the Gulf and San Juan Islands. For Jane, life has always been about direction and purpose.
Jane first met Krystal 15 years ago when they were working as competitors in the industry. Over time they collaborated frequently, and when the opportunity came to formally work together, the transition felt natural.
Before joining KWM, Jane founded and built a leading matchmaking service in Western Canada. Her work has been featured on Bravo, Global TV, and CBC, as well as in publications including Elle, The Globe and Mail, and Zoomer. Known for a direct approach and strong intuition, she balances professionalism with genuine care for the people she works with. Clients value her results-driven style along with her warmth, humor, and ability to make people feel understood.
Jane sees matchmaking as more than introductions. For her, it is about creating meaningful connections that can change the direction of someone’s life. With decades of experience and a grounded perspective, she brings both strategy and insight to every match.
